Matter and Community

This exhibition and community project pairs modern visual art with the traditional heritage of Lasa and Fyti, treating local stone, earth and old craft methods as part of the area's living character. Visitors can see works by invited painters and sculptors, join hands-on sessions, listen to talks and take guided strolls that uncover local memories. Older residents are especially welcome, since several sessions pair grandparents with their grandchildren. It suits anyone curious about rural Cyprus, from locals to art lovers.
