Ex Libris and Random Engravings

An exhibition about ex libris, the engraved bookplates pasted inside the front cover of a book to mark its owner. It opens with a historical overview from the 16th to the 21st century, from handwritten marks and library stamps to small printed bookplates with coats of arms, mottoes and symbols. It suits lovers of books, the history of printmaking and heraldry.
