The Bald Soprano

Twelve and a bit, an amateur theatre group, stages Eugène Ionesco's play, a key text of the Theatre of the Absurd. Its ordinary-looking city parlour becomes a place where talk slips loose from meaning and familiar routines turn strange. The staging is part of the 39th Amateur Theatre Festival run by the Cyprus Theatre Organization. It suits viewers curious about modern drama and sharp, witty satire.
