Cypriot Society and Art: A Journey from the 1930s to the 1970s

This guided walk through chosen pieces from the Cyprus Collection at the A. G. Leventis Gallery shows how painters and sculptors portrayed everyday island life. It also traces how the political and cultural pressures of those decades pushed modern Cypriot art in new directions. Six artists, active between the 1930s and 1970s, provide the focus.
