A Planet in Common

Cypriot artist Yiannis Oikonomou presents a solo show at Diatopos Art Centre in Nicosia that examines how people and animals relate to one another. Its centrepiece is a multi-channel video piece built around an everyday scene: a cat pursued by two crows in the artist's neighbourhood. Curated by Daphne Nikita, the exhibition asks who observes whom and how far human perception can truly reach. It will appeal to those interested in animal behaviour, nature and contemporary art.
